March 29 (SeeNews) - The loan portfolio of North Macedonia's commercial banks rose 6.5% year-on-year to 448 billion denars ($7.9 billion/7.3 billion euro) at the end of February, the central bank said.
Month-on-month, the banks' loan portfolio was 0.9% higher at the end of February, the central bank said in a statement last week.
Loans to the corporate sector grew 5.9% on the year, reaching 214.2 billion denars at the end of February, while loans to households totalled 231.3 billion denars, up 7.2%.
