March 16 (SeeNews) - Montenegro's gross domestic product (GDP) went up by a real 8.2% on the year in the fourth quarter of 2021, following a 25.8% rise in the previous quarter, preliminary data of the statistical office indicated.
In the fourth quarter of 2021, Montenegro's real GDP declined 7.5%.
Montenegro's GDP went up nominally by 14.4% in the three months through December 2021, versus a 7.4% fall a year ago, the statistical office said in a statement.
The country’s GDP totalled 1.253 billion euro ($1.374 billion) at current prices in the fourth quarter of 2021, up from 1.158 billion euro a year earlier.
Final consumption expenditure grew to 1.292 billion euro in the fourth quarter of 2021 from 1.199 billion euro in the like period of last year. Exports totalled 508.3 million euro and imports amounted to 859.8 million euro.
