May 7 (SeeNews) - Montenegro’s Hipotekarna Banka [MNG:HIBP] recorded a net profit of 5.1 million euro ($5.5 million) in the first quarter of 2024, up from a 2.8 million euro profit booked in the like period of last year, it said.
Hipotekarna Banka's net interest income came in at 7.3 million euro in the first quarter, up 55.3% on the year, while net fee and commission income rose 39.1% to 3.2 million euro, the lender said in an interim financial statement filed with the Montenegro Stock Exchange last week.
The bank's loan portfolio amounted to 355.9 million euro at the end of March, while deposits totalled 776 million euro.
