June 9 (SeeNews) - Montenegro's government said it will increase the excise duty on cigarettes and e-cigarette liquids as of July 1.
The specific component will be raised to 49 euro ($52.80) per 1000 cigarettes from 47.50 euro, while the proportional component will remain unchanged, the government said in a statement on Thursday.
Excise duty on e-cigarette liquids will increase to 0.70 euro per millilitre from 0.07 euro per millilitre.
