PODGORICA (Montenegro), September 12 (SeeNews) – Montenegro's government said on Thursday it has signed a 580,000 euro ($640,000) contract for the construction of a water supply system in Cmiljaca resort with local company Vukotic Trejd.
The project envisages the construction of a water supply system for the ski facilities in Cmiljaca, located in the municipality of Bijelo Polje, and will be completed in a period of six months, the government said in a statement.
In March, the Montenegrin government signed a 9 million euro agreement with local company Novi Volvoks for the design and construction of a six-person chairlift that will connect the ski resorts of Zarski and Cmiljaca.
The government plans to invest a total of 23 million euro in projects for improvement of the country's winter tourism infrastructure in the areas of Kolasin, Mojkovac and Bijelo Polje in the next three years.
