PODGORICA (Montenegro), October 4 (SeeNews) – Montenegro's government signed a 1.9 million euro ($2.1 million) agreement with local company Gradnja inzenjering MNE for the construction of a ski track in Zarski ski resort, it said on Friday.
The company will be in charge of the preparation of the preliminary design, the main project and the construction of the ski track under the "design-build" project delivery system, the government said in a statement.
The deadline for drafting the preliminary design is two months after the signing of the contract, the government said. The main design should be completed in two months from the adoption of the preliminary design, and the construction works should be carried out in the following six months.
Moreover, the government has signed a 1 million euro contract for the installation of supporting structures on the Vragodo-Vrioci-Zarski katun road with local company Eko reciklaza to enable the construction of more roads to the Zarski resort, it added.
The government signed in March an agreement with local company Novi Volvoks for the design and construction of a six-person chairlift in Zarski.
