March 16 (SeeNews) - Montenegro - one of the few countries in Europe which have not reported any case of the coronavirus infection so far - has closed its borders for foreign nationals to prevent the spread of the disease on its territory, the government said.
The country has imposed a ban on the entry of foreigners, except for foreign nationals permanently or temporarily residing in Montenegro and drivers of motor vehicles delievring goods, the government said in a statement on Sunday.
Montenegro also introduced a compulsory self-isolation for all citizens who arrive from a foreign country.
Hotels, bars, nightclubs, cafeterias and restaurants are closed until further notice.
