October 10 (SeeNews) - Montenegro Airlines handled 540,764 passengers in the first nine months of 2019, up 2.45% on the year, the flag carrier said.
In September alone, Montenegro Airlines handled 74,390 passengers, up 2.25% on the year, according to a statement posted on the website of Montenegro Airlines on Wednesday.
The company aims to handle 660,000 passengers in 2019, up from 645,000 last year, and to keep its market share of up to one-third of Montenegrin airport's passenger traffic, it said.
Montenegro Airlines narrowed its loss to 1.97 million euro ($2.17 million) in 2018, as the number of its passengers rose to a record-high 645,000, the flag carrier's executive director Zivko Banjevic said in April.
