January 31 (SeeNews) - Moldova issued 3,414 building permits in 2023, marking an annual increase of 0.6%, the national statistical office, BNS, said.
Building permits issued for construction projects in rural areas constituted 54.7% of all building permits in 2023, decreasing by 0.4% on the year, BNS said in a press release on Tuesday.
Building permits for residential projects represented 66% of all permits issued last year, decreasing by an annual 2.1%.
Moldova issued 3,394 building permits in 2022, down 17.6% on 2021.
