October 2 (SeeNews) - Industrial gases producer Messer Tehnogas [BEL:TGAS] generated the highest turnover on the Belgrade Stock Exchange on Tuesday and led the blue-chip gainers' list, as share indices ended up, bourse data showed.
A total of 314 of Messer Tehnogas' shares changed hands, generating a turnover of 3.6 million dinars. The company won 3.76% and closed at 11,414 dinars.
The BELEX15 index, which tracks the most liquid shares on the Belgrade bourse, went up 0.43% to 729.98 points on Tuesday. The index fell 0.03% on Monday.
The broader BELEXline, a free‐float market capitalisation weighted index, rose 0.54% to 1,541.77 points on Tuesday, after increasing 0.02% on Monday.
Aluminium rolling mill Impol Seval [BEL:IMPL] paced the blue-chip decliners on Tuesday, after losing 4.38% and closing at 3,060 dinars.
The total stock trading turnover on the bourse rose to 8.1 million dinars ($78,903/68,384 euro) on Tuesday from 3.5 million dinars on Monday, as 241 share transactions were carried out. Trading on the multilateral trading facility (MTP) of the bourse came in at 189,242 dinars.
