June 26 (SeeNews) - Medical services provider Medicover Group on Wednesday opened a new clinic in Romania's capital Bucharest following a 1 million euro ($1.14 million) investment.
The clinic is located in The Bridge complex in the Grozavesti-Orhideea area, the company said in a press release.
The 800 sq m clinic provides services in 27 medical specialties and employs 80 doctors.
"The inauguration of The Bridge Clinic is part of Medicover's expansion strategy in Romania and is one of the projects with which we wanted to be as close as possible to our patients to be able to meet their medical needs," Medicover Romania general manager Adrian Peake said.
Medicover is an international provider of medical and diagnostic services listed on the Swedish Stock Exchange - Nasdaq Stockholm.
Medicover is present in Romania since 1996 through the Medicover network of hospitals and clinics and the Synevo laboratories and collection centers.
