February 23 (SeeNews) - North Macedonia's Makedonski Telekom [MSE:TEL] said on Friday that its net profit increased 39% year-on-year in 2023, reaching 2.1 billion denars ($36.9 million/34.1 million euro).
Total operating revenues edged up 2% on the year to 12.1 billion denars in 2023, the company said in an annual financial statement.
Domestic sales were 1% higher on an annual comparison basis last year, at 11.4 billion denars, while exports rose 13% to 499.8 million denars.
Operating costs totalled 9.7 billion denars last year, some 3% lower compared with the year before.
Makedonski Telekom's shares last traded at an average price of 420 denars on the Macedonian Stock Exchange on February 16.
