November 9 (SeeNews) - Macedonian lender TTK Banka [MSE:TTK] said that its net profit fell to 60.7 million denars ($1.1 million/1.0 million euro) in the first nine months of the year from 65.4 million denars in the like period of 2017, due to a rise in impaiments.
The bank's net financial asset impairments rose to 48.6 million denars in the review period from 34.9 million denars the year before, figures from TTK Banka's interim financial statement, published on Thursday, showed.
Net impairments of non-financial assets grew to 54.1 million denars in the January-September period from 13.5 million denars in the comparable period of 2017.
The bank's net interest income increased to 202.9 million denars from 195.5 million denars a year earlier, while its net fee and commission income edged down to 91.6 million denars from 93.0 million denars in the first nine months of last year.
Other operating income grew to 87.2 million denars in the period under review from 53.4 million denars the year before.
Skopje-based TTK Banka was established through the merger of Teteks-Credit bank and Tetovska banka-Tetovo in 2006.
