SKOPJE (Macedonia), January 11 (SeeNews) – The number of building permits issued in Macedonia in November increased by 27.5% year-on-year to 292, the state statistical office said on Friday.
The estimated value of the construction projects covered by building permits issued in November increased by an annual 80.1% to 2.9 billion denars ($54.6 million/47.4 million euro), Makstat said in a statement.
In November, 144 permits were issued for new buildings, 52 for civil engineering projects, and 96 for reconstruction projects.
Of the total number of permits issued in November, 167 were issued to private individuals.
During the review period, 717 dwellings were planned for construction, with a total usable floor area of 47,289 sq m.
