SKOPJE (Macedonia), December 12 (SeeNews) – The number of building permits issued in Macedonia in October fell by 31.0% year-on-year to 276, the state statistical office said on Wednesday.
The estimated value of the construction projects covered by building permits issued in October increased by an annual 45.7% to 5.8 billion denars ($106.9 million/94.2 million euro), Makstat said in a statement.
In October, 158 permits were issued for new buildings, 48 for civil engineering projects, and 70 for reconstruction projects.
Of the total number of permits issued in October, 157 were issued to private individuals.
During the review period, 1,591 dwellings were planned for construction, with a total usable floor area of 116,486 sq m.
