SKOPJE (Macedonia), December 13 (SeeNews) – The blue-chip index of the Macedonian Stock Exchange (MSE) ended higher as turnover rose this week, bourse data showed on Friday.
The MBI-10 index, which tracks the 10 blue chips on the Macedonian Stock Exchange (MSE), added 1.2% from last Friday to 1,602.71 points.
MSE's total stock turnover increaseed to 45.5 million denars ($1.0 million/737,820 euro) in four trading sessions this week from 23.9 million denars in five trading sessions a week earlier.
Macedonian bourse was closed on Monday for a public and market holiday following the celebration of St. Kliment Ohridski Day on December 8.
Komercijalna Banka [MSE:KMB] was the most traded blue chip this week, generating a turnover of some 6.9 million denars.
The MSE bond index, the OMB, edged up 0.09% from last week to end at 123.06 points on Friday.
