February 24 (SeeNews) - The loan portfolio of Macedonia’s commercial banks increased to 254.4 billion denars ($4.7 billion/4.1 billion euro) at the end of January from 233 billion denars a year earlier, central bank data indicated on Tuesday.
Month-on-month, the banks' loan portfolio fell 0.4% at the end of January, according to figures from the central bank.
Loans to households rose to 107.5 billion denars at the end of January from 107 billion denars a month earlier.
