LJUBLJANA (Slovenia), February 26 (SeeNews) – Slovenian port operator Luka Koper [LJE:LKPG] posted the biggest gains among the blue-chip companies on the Ljubljana Stock Exchange (LJSE) on Wednesday, partly recouping the losses it suffered in the previews session, bourse data showed.
Luka Koper’s shares closed at 21.8 euro, up 6.86%. On Tuesday, the company’s shares lost 9.73%, falling to 20.4 euro.
Nova Ljubljanska Banka [LJSE:NLBR] fell the most among the blue chips. The company's shares ended Wednesday's session 1.59% lower at 62.0 euro.
The SBITOP index, which tracks the most liquid and capitalised stocks on the LJSE, gained 0.72% to 927.67 points.
Pharmaceuticals producer Krka [LJE:KRKG] generated the day’s largest turnover – of 1.3 million euro. Total regulated market turnover fell to 2.8 million euro ($3.04 million), from 2.94 million euro on Tuesday.
