September 14 (SeeNews) - The two stock indices on the Ljubljana Stock Exchange (LJSE) declined on Wednesday, as reinsurer Pozavarovalnica Sava [LJE:POSR] lost the most among the blue chips, bourse data showed.
Sava's shares fell 2.70% to close at 21.60 euro on Wednesday, LJSE data showed. Port operator Luka Koper [LJE:LKPG] was another major loser, with shares declining 2.07% to 23.7 euro.
Nova Ljubljanska Banka [LJE:NLBR] was the sole riser among the blue chips, as its shares gained 1.38% and closed at 58.80 euro on Wednesday.
The blue-chip SBITOP index ended 0.73% lower at 1,078.08 points, while the SBITOP TR index, which also tracks dividend distribution, fell 0.70% to 1,349.26 points on Wednesday.
Drug maker Krka [LJE:KRKG] booked the largest turnover - of 200,895 euro ($200,500). Its shares closed down 0.64% to 93 euro.
Total daily regulated market turnover decreased to 548,855 euro on Wednesday, compared with 1.3 million euro generated the previous trading day.
