October 5 (SeeNews) - The two stock indices on the Ljubljana Stock Exchange (LJSE) closed in green territory on Wednesday, recovering some of the losses made last week, bourse data showed.
The blue-chip SBITOP index ended the trading session at 979.51 points, up 1%. The SBITOP TR index, which also tracks dividend distribution, also rose 1% and closed at 1,225.97 points on Wednesday, LJSE data showed.
Pharmaceutical company Krka [LJE:KRKG] gained the most among the blue chips, as its shares went up 2.28% to 89.80 euro. The drug maker also was the most traded company on the bourse on Wednesday, accounting for a turnover of 1.7 million euro ($1.68 million).
Telekom Slovenije [LJE:TLSG] paced the blue-chip decliners, with shares declining 1.61% to 49 euro.
Total daily regulated market turnover increased to 2.4 million euro on Wednesday, compared with 1.7 million euro generated on Tuesday.
