September 2 (SeeNews) - The two stock indices on the Ljubljana Stock Exchange (LJSE) closed in red territory on Friday, as chemicals producer Cinkarna Celje [LJE:CICG] lost the most among the blue chips, bourse data showed.
Cinkarna Celje's shares dropped 2.86% to 27.20 euro on Friday, LJSE data showed. No member of the two indices closed higher.
The blue-chip SBITOP index fell 0.90% to 1,108.18 points, whereas the SBITOP TR index, which also tracks dividend distribution, lost 0.86% to close at 1,385.03 points.
Nova Ljubljanska Banka [LJE:NLBR] generated the highest single trading turnover on the bourse on Friday - of 426,755 euro ($426,810). Its shares closed at 58.60 euro, down 2.01%.
The stock exchange's total turnover fell to 791,719 euro on Friday from 1.2 million euro on Thursday.
