January 22 (SeeNews) - The main indices on the Zagreb Stock Exchange (ZSE) closed mixed on Tuesday, with confectionery producer Kras [ZSE:KRAS] leading the blue-chip gainers, bourse data showed.
Kras' shares closed 3.76% higher at 386.00 kuna.
Croatian shipbuilding company Viktor Lenac [ZSE:VLEN], the leader of the blue-chip gainers on Monday, paced the decliners on Tuesday, closing 17.76 % lower at 6.25 kuna.
Telecommunications services provider Hrvatski Telekom [ZSE:HT] contributed the highest turnover among the blue-chip companies, of 838,500 kuna.
ZSE's total trading turnover increased to 9.9 million kuna ($1.5 million/1.3 million euro) on Tuesday from 8.5 million kuna on Monday.
The 25-share benchmark CROBEX index edged down by 0.02% to 1,761.51 points, after rising 0.14% on Monday.
The narrower of the ZSE's two blue-chip indices, the CROBEX10, which tracks the leading companies in terms of free float, market capitalisation and liquidity, increased by 0.31% to 1,021.22, after dropping 0.37% in the previous trading session.
The fixed-income CROBIS index edged decreased 0.14% to 110.7550.
