September 27 (SeeNews) - The gross written premiums (GWPs) of insurance companies operating in Kosovo increased 14.5% year-on-year to 87.5 million euro ($84.3 million) in the January-August period, central bank data showed.
The combined net profit of Kosovo insurers totalled 6 million euro at the end of August, up from 5 million euro a year earlier, according to data published by the central bank.
The assets held by Kosovo insurance companies increased to 260.6 million euro at the end of August, from 238.6 million euro at the end of 2021.
