June 8 (SeeNews) - Kosovo's gross domestic product (GDP) is projected to increase by 3.9% in 2022, the World Bank said, revising downwards its January projection for 4.1% economic growth.
The country's economic expansion is expected to accelerate to 4.3% in 2023, the World Bank said in its June 2022 Global Economic Prospects report published on Tuesday.
In 2021, the country's economic output increased by an estimated 9.1%, the global lender said.
The regional GDP growth of the Western Balkans is forecast at 3.1% in 2022, reflecting higher commodity prices and weaker euro area growth from the war, the World Bank noted.
