PRISTINA (Kosovo), September 20 (SeeNews) – Kosovo's gross domestic product (GDP) grew by a real 4.23% year-on-year in 2017, after increasing by an annual 4.1% in 2016, Kosovo's statistical agency said on Thursday.
In current prices, Kosovo's 2017 GDP totalled 6.4 billion euro ($7.5 billion), the statistical agency said in an annual report.
Gross capital formation increased by 5.7% year-on-year in the period under review.
Exports of goods and services rose by 22.2% and 15.3%, respectively, while and imports of goods and services increased by 5.2% and 6.3% each.
Kosovo's 2018 state budget envisages 4.6% economic growth and deficit equivalent to 1.5% of GDP.
