March 6 (SeeNews) - Kosovo’s trade ministry said it has implemented measures to limit profit margins for wholesalers and retailers of oil products used for transportation, following monitoring that indicated price abuses.
The profit margin ceiling is set at 0.02 euro ($0.02) per litre for wholesalers and at 0.12 euro per litre for retailers, the ministry said in a press release on Tuesday.
The decision was prompted by discrepancies between prices on the local market and the global markets established during routine market monitoring.
The ministry will monitor more closely this market segment, it added.
