January 18 (SeeNews) - The main indices on the Zagreb Stock Exchange (ZSE) closed higher on Friday, with electrical equipment manufacturer Koncar Elektroindustrija [ZSE:KOEI] leading the blue-chip gainers, bourse data showed.
Koncar's shares closed 3.70% higher at 560.00 kuna.
Shipbuilding company Viktor Lenac [ZSE:VLEN] paced the blue-chip decliners, closing 3.13% lower at 6.20 kuna.
Croatian telecommunications services provider Hrvatski Telekom [ZSE:HT] generated the highest turnover among the blue chips, of 786,149 kuna.
ZSE's total trading turnover increased to 13.2 million kuna ($2.0 million/1.7 million euro) on Friday from 3.1 million kuna on Thursday.
The 25-share benchmark CROBEX index rose 0.16% to 1,759.33 after increasing 0.24% on Thursday.
The narrower of the ZSE's two blue-chip indices, the CROBEX10, which tracks the leading companies in terms of free float, market capitalisation and liquidity, went up 0.34% to 1,021.84 after adding 0.29% in the previous trading session.
The fixed-income CROBIS index edged up 0.07% 110.9253.
