April 19 (SeeNews) - Croatian electrical concern Koncar [ZSE:KOEI] said its unit, power transformer manufacturer Koncar Distributivni i Specijalni Transformatori D&ST [ZSE:KODT, KODT2], will deliver seven transformers with nominal capacities of 20, 50, and 100 MVA to a Dutch client this year.
"Mid-March marked the successful completion of testing and the subsequent approval of the first power transformer that Koncar D&ST is set to deliver to the Netherlands in April," Koncar said in a monthly newsletter earlier this week. It did not disclose the value of the deal and the buyer.
The transformers will be delivered under a four-year framework agreement starting March 2023. The contract was signed with one of the six regional network operators in the Netherlands, in charge of the installation, maintenance, and operation of the country’s gas and electrical transmission and distribution networks.
The ordinary shares of Koncar D&ST traded 0.69% lower at 1,440 euro ($1,537) on the Zagreb bourse on Friday afternoon, while its preferred shares traded 3.50% lower at 1,380 euro. The shares of Koncar traded flat at 258 euro.
