April 17 (SeeNews) - Lender Komercijalna banka [BEL:KMBN] generated the highest turnover on the Belgrade Stock Exchange on Wednesday, as stock indices ended up, bourse data showed.
A total of 2,746 Komercijalna shares changed hands, generating a turnover of 7.7 million dinars. Komercijalna won 0.07% and closed at 2,802 dinars.
The BELEX15 index, which tracks the most liquid shares on the Belgrade Stock Exchange, ended the session 1.09% higher at 747.39 points.
Civil engineering group Energoprojekt [BEL:ENHL] led the blue-chip gainers' list as its share price rose 10.01% to 758 dinars.
The broader BELEXline, a free‐float market capitalisation weighted index, closed up 0.92% at 1,602.36.
The total turnover on the bourse increased to 259.9 million dinars ($2.5 million/2.2 million euro) on Wednesday from 13.7 million dinars on Tuesday, as 315 transactions were carried out.
Trading on the multilateral trading facility (MTP) of the Belgrade Stock Exchange resulted in a turnover of 2.7 million dinars.
Trading in Treasury bonds contributed 245.2 million dinars to the total turnover on the stock market on Wednesday.
