April 2 (SeeNews) - Lender Komercijalna banka [BEL:KMBN] generated the highest turnover on the Belgrade Stock Exchange on Tuesday, as stock indices ended down, bourse data showed.
A total of 1,737 Komercijalna banka shares changed hands, generating a turnover of 4.9 million dinars. Komercijalna lost 2.54% and closed at 2,800 dinars.
The BELEX15 index, which tracks the most liquid shares on the Belgrade Stock Exchange, ended the session 1.01% lower at 729.48 points.
No blue-chip index members saw their share price increase on Tuesday.
The broader BELEXline, a free‐float market capitalisation weighted index, closed down 0.60% at 1,587.13.
The total turnover on the bourse increased to 617 million dinars ($5.9 million/5.2 million euro) on Tuesday from 219.5 million dinars on Monday, as 142 transactions were carried out.
Trading on the multilateral trading facility (MTP) of the Belgrade Stock Exchange resulted in a turnover of 4.1 million dinars.
Trading in Treasury bonds contributed 604.4 million dinars to the total turnover on the stock exchange on Tuesday.
