December 13 (SeeNews) - Italian footwear manufacturer Euroin has launched its fourth factory in Serbia, in the northern town of Kula, the Serbian government said.
Euroin has already hired 70 employees at the factory and intends to increase their number to 200 until it completes the first phase of the plant's development, the government said in a statement on Wednesday.
The project envisages the construction of two additional production units at the factory and the opening of a total of 600 jobs, Kula mayor, Velimir Milojicic, said in the statement.
The amount of the investment was not disclosed.
Euroin already operates three factories in Serbia - in Ugrinovci, Feketic and Kosjeric.
