BELGRADE (Serbia), October 12 (SeeNews) – Four Israeli companies plan to invest a total of 30 million euro ($34.7 million) in Serbia's agriculture sector, the Serbian agriculture ministry said.
The Israeli companies are active in the meat and berry fruit processing industries, as well as in flower growing, the ministry said in a statement on Thursday.

During a visit to Israel on Thursday, Serbia's agriculture minister Branislav Nedimovic held meetings with representatives of local companies Well Done, Terra Nova and Aviv Harmonie.The planned Israeli investment is extremely important for the agricultural producers in Serbia, as it represents an opportunity for them to open new markets and ensure a better price for their products, the ministry noted.
