January 16 (SeeNews) - Romanian real estate developer Iulius said that Zara-owner Inditex's budget brand Lefties will open its second store in Romania this year, located within one of the mixed-use complexes owned by the developer in Timisoara.
The store will cover an area of 5,000 sq m and will be located within Iulius Town Timisoara, Iulius said in a press release on Monday.
"2024 will be a very dynamic across the Iulius network. In Timisoara, we will have two major entries and we will not stop there, because we wish to bring the most requested brands into our projects," said Oana Diaconescu, Head of Leasing at Iulius.
Iulius Town Timisoara opened in 2019 after an investment of over 442 million euro ($480.5 million) and comprises a retail area of more than 102,000 sq m, accommodating 450 stores.
Lefties, which operates in 16 countries, entered Romania in 2023.
