February 18 (SeeNews) - Croatia's biggest telecommunication services provider, Hrvatski Telekom [ZSE:HT-R-A], said on Tuesday its consolidated net profit decreased to 743 million kuna ($108 million/100 million euro) last year from 1.04 billion kuna in 2018.
Consolidated revenues fell by 1.0% to 7.7 billion kuna last year, with revenue from mobile telephony edging up 0.4% to 3.5 billion kuna, while fixed telephony revenue dropping 2.1% to 3.3 billion kuna, Hrvatski Telekom (HT) said in a statement filed with the Zagreb Stock Exchange (ZSE).
Consolidated costs rose 2.6% to over 4.7 billion kuna in 2019, the statement reads.
Earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortisation (EBITDA) before exceptional items decreased by 3.6% to 3.27 billion kuna last year with a margin of 42.5%.
Consolidated earnings before interest and taxes (EBIT) shrank by 29% to 1.0 billion kuna, while capital investments increased by 4.1% to 1.9 billion kuna in 2019.
HT said it held a share of 44.9% on the Croatian mobile telephony market at the end of last year.
The company is 51%-owned by Deutsche Telekom.
Its shares closed down 0.27% at 183.5 kuna on ZSE on Monday. They did not trade at opening on Tuesday.
