June 24 (SeeNews) - The main equity indices of the Zagreb Stock Exchange (ZSE) rebounded on Friday thanks to gains in index heavyweights Hrvatski Telekom and Podravka, bourse data showed.
The 23-share blue-chip index, the CROBEX, gained 0.75% to finish at 2,011.78 points. The narrower CROBEX10 which tracks the top ten companies in terms of free float, market capitalisation and liquidity, rose 0.90% to end at 1,194.14 points.
Hrvatski Telekom [ZSE:HT] was the most traded company on Friday with a turnover of 2.9 million kuna ($406,000/385,000 euro). Its shares appreciated 2.01% to end at 177.50 kuna.
Shares of textile company Cateks [ZSE:CTKS], which is not included in the main share indices, went up 0.92% to 220 kuna in a turnover of 1.4 million kuna.
No other share generated a turnover above the one million kuna mark.
Shares of food and pharmaceuticals producer Podravka [ZSE:PODR] surged 1.79% to end at 570 kuna in a turnover of 864,000 kuna.
Shares of ICT solutions provider Ericsson Nikola Tesla [ZSE:ERNT] declined 0.56% to 1,780 kuna in a turnover of 255,400 kuna.
The bourse's total trading turnover reached 8.8 million kuna from 5.5 million kuna on Thursday.
