March 21 (SeeNews) - The main equity indices of the Zagreb Stock Exchange (ZSE) reached fresh record highs on Thursday on gains in Hrvatski Telekom [ZSE:HT], despite a drop in turnover, bourse data showed.
The regular turnover fell to 1.4 million euro ($1.5 million) from 2.9 million euro a day earlier.
The 21-share benchmark CROBEX climbed 0.51% to finish at 2,834.73 points, its highest level in at least five years.
The narrower equity index CROBEX10, which tracks the top ten issuers in terms of free float, market capitalisation and liquidity, rose 0.93% to close at 1,723.50 points.
Hrvatski Telekom was the most traded company with a turnover of 597,000 euro, as its shares surged 2.66% to 30.90 euro. On Wednesday the company said it has proposed to pay a dividend of 1.53 euro per share.
