Memento Group is one of Romania’s most significant travel groups and has been a long-standing customer of Aegean, chartering aircraft with flights from several Romanian cities to Greece and particularly to the islands of Crete, Rhodes and Corfu, Aegean noted.
Animawings, launched in January by Memento group and Greek charter airline Orange2Fly, will provide charter flights operated by local tour operators to holiday destinations in Greece, Turkey, Spain, Egypt and Tunisia. Animawings will initially use two 180-seat Airbus 320 aircraft from Orange2Fly's total fleet of four, it said at the time.
Memento Group’s operations spread across Europe from Romania, Serbia, Greece, Turkey, Poland and Moldova to Spain. The headquarters of operations and of the management board is located in Bucharest, while the advisory board is based in Amsterdam.
According to information posted on its website, Memento Group has 7 pillar-brands: Christian Tour, Memento Bus, Memento Holidays, Memento Hotels, Pandels Properties, iMemento Inc and Fabrica de Asigurari.
Orange2Fly is a Greek charter airline founded in 2015 and headquartered at Athens International Airport. It offers wet lease, charter and ad hoc flights.
