November 12 (SeeNews) - German automotive leather producer Bader will open a factory for seat covers in Bulgaria, the economy ministry in Sofia said.
The factory near the city of Ruse, in the northeastern part of the country, is expected to commence operations in the second half of 2019, the economy ministry said in a statement, following a meeting of deputy minister of economy Aleksandar Manolev with representatives of the German company in Berlin last week.

Between 700 and 800 people will be employed at the factory when it runs at full capacity, according to the statement.
Bader's clients include BMW, Mercedes, Audi and other carmakers. The company has 11,300 employees working at a total of nine production facilities, according to data from the corporate website.
