BELGRADE (Serbia), September 14 (SeeNews) - German investors have expressed interest in entering into strategic partnership with Serbian rubber products manufacturer Tigar [BEL:TIGR], the Serbian company has said.

A delegation of German investors, led by Roland Schimek, visited the factory of Tigar in the city of Pirot and showed interest in launching cooperation with the company, Tigar said in a statement on Thursday.

Schimek is the owner of companies MSG Maschinenbau und Service GmbH, ATF Ammendorf Plastisole GmbH, KSA-Media GmbH, Schienenfahrzeugwerk Ammendorf GmbH and RSB Roland Schimek Beteiligungs GmbH, according to data from his personal website.

"This is my first visit to check the opportunities for a long-term investment and everything seems fine," Schimek said in a video file posted on the corporate website of Tigar.

Tigar offers a wide range of products and, in general, its concept fits into the requirements of Schimek, Roland Mayer, a member of the delegation, said in the video file.

"Of course, we need more information to get more insight into the company, on the production process and financial data, and when we have it, a decision will be made," Mayer said.
