September 4 (SeeNews) - Agricultural chemicals maker Galenika Fitofarmacija [BEL:FITO] generated the highest turnover on the Belgrade Stock Exchange on Wednesday, as stock indices ended up, bourse data showed.
A total of 360 Galenika Fitofarmacija shares changed hands in turnover of 1.044 million dinars. Galenika Fitofarmacija closed flat at 2,900 dinars.
The BELEX15 index, which tracks the most liquid shares on the Belgrade Stock Exchange, ended the session 0.53% higher at 747.12 points.
Construction company Jedinstvo [BEL:JESV] led the blue-chip gainers' list as its share price rose 5.26% to 6,000 dinars.
The broader BELEXline, a free-float market capitalisation weighted index, rose 0.34% to 1,588.62.
The total turnover on the bourse amounted to 6.8 million dinars ($63,700/57,800 euro) on Wednesday, up from Tuesday's 6.7 million dinars, as 76 transactions were carried out.
Trading on the multilateral trading facility (MTP) of the exchange generated a turnover of 300,100 dinars.
No Treasury bonds changed hands on the Belgrade Stock Exchange on Wednesday.
