February 27 (SeeNews) - Bosnia's Serb Republic attracted 15,613 foreign tourists in January, up 4.3% compared to the same month of 2023, the entity's statistical office said on Tuesday.
Foreign tourists spent 50,324 overnights in the Serb Republic last month, which represents an annual increase of 11.1%, the Serb Republic's statistical office said in a monthly statement.
Most foreign tourists who visited the Serb Republic in January came from Serbia (5,402, down 1.9% year-on-year), followed by tourists from Croatia (4,251, up 29.6%), and 1,836 tourists from Slovenia (down 4.7%).
The total number of tourists in the entity rose 0.6% on the year to 26,643 in January. The overall number of overnights went up 7.7% to 76,184.
The Serb Republic is one of two autonomous entities that form Bosnia and Herzegovina. The other one is the Federation.
