September 12 (SeeNews) - Foreign tourist arrivals to North Macedonia totalled 77,884 in July, compared with 45,778 in the same month a year earlier, the country's statistical office said on Monday.
The number of overnights spent by foreign tourists in North Macedonia rose to 179,809 in July, from 104,858 in July 2021, Makstat said in a statement.
Out of the total number of foreign tourists who visited North Macedonia in July, 16.5% came from Turkey, 12.8% from Serbia and 6.9% from Poland.
Domestic tourists numbered 91,565 in July, up from 90,513 in July 2021, as they spent 520,820 overnights, up from 513,456 a year earlier.
