September 12 (SeeNews) - Foreign tourist arrivals to Croatia fell 0.8% on the year to 4.033 million in July, the country's statistical office said on Thursday.
The number of overnights spent by foreign tourists in Croatia dropped 2.1% on the year in July, to 24.073 million, the statistical office said in a statement.
In July 2019, the number of Croatian tourists increased by 11.3% year-on-year to 292,280, while the overnights they spent rose 10.1% to 1.449 million.
Overall, the number of domestic and foreign tourists in the Adriatic state edged down 0.1% to 4.325 million on the year in July.
Tourists from Germany accounted for 19.9% of all overnights spent by international visitors in July, followed by Slovenia with 11.4%, Poland (8.2%) and Czech Republic (7.8%).
