December 10 (SeeNews) - The number of foreign tourists who visited Bosnia in the first ten months of 2018 grew 14.1% on the year, reaching 951,122, according to official data from the country's statistical office.
The total number of tourists staying in the country in the January-October period increased by 12.4% year-on-year to 1,292,636, data posted on the website of Bosnia's Agency for Statistics showed.
Total tourist overnights increased to 2,702,502 through October, up 13.8% year-on-year. Of them, foreign tourist overnights accounted for 72.4%, or 1,955,581 - up 13.1% on the year.
Visitors from Croatia accounted for 11% of all foreign tourist overnights in the first ten months, followed by visitors from Serbia with 7.8% and Slovenia with 5.5%.
