July 4 (SeeNews) - A total of 83,805 foreign tourists visited Bosnia and Herzegovina in May, compared with 26,804 in May 2021, the country's statistical office said on Monday.
Foreign tourists spent 171,846 overnights in Bosnia in May, up 195% on the year, Bosnia's Agency for Statistics said in a monthly report.
The total number of tourists who visited the country in May was 139,529, up 124% on the year.
Total tourist overnights increased 116% to 289,346.
In May most foreign visitors to Bosnia and Herzegovina came from Serbia (14,734), followed by tourists from Croatia (8,454) and Turkey (6,702).
Foreign tourist arrivals to Bosnia surged 153% on the year in 2021.
