August 3 (SeeNews) - A total of 87,257 foreign tourists visited Bosnia and Herzegovina in June, compared with 41,835 in June 2021, the country's statistical office said on Wednesday.
Foreign tourists spent 180,793 overnights in Bosnia in June, up 92.4% on the year, Bosnia's Agency for Statistics said in a monthly report.
The total number of tourists who visited the country in June was 138,720, up 52.5% on the year.
Total tourist overnights increased 45.3% to 301,619.
In June most foreign visitors to Bosnia and Herzegovina came from Serbia (11,912), followed by tourists from Croatia (9,242) and Turkey (7,536).
Foreign tourist arrivals to Bosnia surged 153% on the year in 2021.
