March 15 (SeeNews) - The net inflow of foreign direct investment (FDI) to Kosovo totalled 816 million euro ($888.5 million) in 2023, up from 732 million euro in the previous year, according to data published by the central bank.
In December alone, net FDI inflows to Kosovo came in at 55 million euro, compared with 49 million euro in the same month a year earlier, central bank data showed earlier this week.
The biggest volume of inbound foreign investment in Kosovo in December, of 25.5 million euro, originated in Germany, followed by Switzerland with 17.8 million euro.
The sector which attracted the biggest volume of investment by non-residents in December was real estate with 55.5 million euro.
