September 17 (SeeNews) - Insurer Euroins Romania acquired 862 corporate bonds issued by Bulgaria's Starcom Holding [BUL:S28H] on September 11, the Sofia-based holding company said.
Euroins Romania bought the securities at a price of 1,000.061 levs ($595.74/511.32 euro) apiece on the floor of the Bulgarian Stock Exchange, Starcom Holding said in a bourse filing on Friday.
Starcom Holding bonds carry an annual coupon of 4.15% with interest payments due twice per year. The ten-year issue matures in 2021.
Euroins Romania is a unit of financial and insurance group Eurohold Bulgaria [BUL:4EH], which held a 98.5% stake in the Romanian insurer at the end of June.
Starcom Holding owned a 54.55% stake in Eurohold Bulgaria at the end of June.
