May 9 (SeeNews) - The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) said on Thursday it approved two loans worth a total of 3 million euro ($3.2 million) to Bosnia and Herzegovina’s ProCredit Bank to back local companies and the residential sector.
The EBRD approved a senior unsecured loan of up to 2 million euro under the Go Digital Pilot in BiH programme to help small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) invest in digitalisation and increase their competitiveness, it said in a project summary document.
The lender will also provide a senior unsecured loan of up to 1 million euro under the Western Balkans Green Economy Financing Facility III - REpower. These funds are envisaged to promote green economy investments in the country through on-lending to the residential sector.
