September 9 (SeeNews) - Insurer Dunav Osiguranje [BEL:DNOS] generated the highest turnover among the blue chips on the Belgrade Stock Exchange on Friday, as stock indices went down, bourse data showed.
A total of 2,479 Dunav shares changed hands in a turnover of 3.3 million dinars. Dunav edged up 0.07% to 1,339 dinars.
The BELEX15 index, which tracks the most liquid shares on the Belgrade Stock Exchange, ended the session down 0.20% at 847.97 points. The broader BELEXline, a free-float market capitalisation weighted index, closed up 0.20% at 1,715.01.
The total turnover on the bourse amounted to 5.2 million dinars ($44,500/44,300 euro) on Friday, up from 4.8 million dinars on Thursday, as 63 transactions were carried out.
Trading in Treasury bonds contributed 1.4 million dinars to the total turnover on the stock exchange on Friday.
In the period between September 5 and 9, BELEX15 went down 0.55%, while BELEXline fell 0.63%.
The total value of trading on the Belgrade stock market this week was 115.6 million dinars, versus 57.4 billion dinars last week.
Treasury bonds trading turnover totalled 85.7 million dinars this week, down from 7.9 million dinars last week.
